At a cost of £256 million it was and still is a state of the art airport terminal capable of serving Manchester Airport for years to come. In the building of Manchester Airport Terminal 2 over 350,000 shrubs and trees were used in the landscaping that surrounds the terminal making it a lovely environment to travel to and from.
